Chirag Upadhyay, a senior research analyst at Strategy Analytics, said the main reason for the success of PC makers is the growing demand in the supply chain. For this, they have worked with the channel and retail partners. Demand for PCs has risen in most cities around the world due to a lockdown last March. Many people buy products in advance out of fear. However, in the beginning, there was additional demand but PC vendors gradually started to meet the market demand.

Chirag said the risk of the financial crisis and recession due to Corona remains in the PC market. Yet many countries are dealing with the first wave of corona infection. If the second wave of infection starts in countries like Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia, it could have a negative impact on the PC market.

Last July, market research firm Gartner and IDC reported that the global PC market had been declining for two consecutive quarters before the Corona epidemic spread. At the end of the second quarter of the year, the PC makers smiled back.

According to preliminary data from market research firm IDC, the PC market has grown 4.8 percent this year compared to last year.
